Questions buyers ask before quoting
Straight answers on documentation, quantities, lead times and what we can evidence. Where an answer genuinely depends on your configuration, we say so instead of publishing a number that will not hold.
What information do you need to quote a project?
Model or capacity, quantity, target market (province/state or country), and any certification or labelling requirement your customer imposes. Drawings or a submittal specification help but are not required to start.
Do you supply individual units or only container quantities?
Quotations are prepared per project. Sample and trial quantities are possible for evaluation programmes; the minimum order quantity is confirmed per product family and configuration rather than published as a single sitewide number.
Which certifications do you hold?
Certification and listing requirements differ by product family and by destination market, and Canadian buyers need the Canadian-marked versions of a listing (the "c" prefix form) rather than the US-only equivalents. Because a certificate is only useful if it matches your exact model, we confirm the applicable certificate number, issuing body and covered model list for your configuration on request rather than publishing a general claim.
What are your typical lead times?
Lead time depends on the family, the configuration and the season, and is stated on the quotation you receive. For planning purposes, tell us the installation window and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you commit.
Which refrigerants are available?
R-410A remains available on existing configurations, and a number of families are offered with A2L refrigerants (R-32 or R-454B), plus CO2 on specific heat pump work. Refrigerant availability is confirmed per model on the submittal sheet — see the A2L-ready product lines for the current list.
Can you manufacture to our own specification or brand?
Yes. OEM and ODM programmes are a standing part of the business: sample design, validation testing, private-label documentation and packaging are handled against your specification. See Project customize.
Do you provide BIM, CAD or submittal documentation?
Submittal sheets and drawings are provided per model on request. BIM/CAD availability depends on the family — ask for the specific model and format your project requires and we will confirm what can be released.
In which languages can you handle documentation?
English and Chinese are standard, and French documentation is supported for Quebec. Note that Quebec law requires commercial documentation such as contracts, invoices and product documentation to be available in French, so confirm the required language at the quotation stage.
