Monterrey is the industrial centre of northern Mexico, and for three days in September it is also where the region’s HVAC trade does its business. ACE FORGE exhibited at AHR Expo México 2025 — the eighteenth edition of the show — held at Cintermex, Monterrey, from 23 to 25 September, on booth 741.
Why we exhibit in Monterrey
Mexico and the wider Latin American market are a natural extension of the work we already do in North America: same climate extremes, same refrigerant transition, and many of the same component standards. A distributor in Monterrey evaluating a PIR duct panel or a coil has the same questions as one in Texas or Ontario, and the answers are easier to give in person.
For us the show is also a calibration exercise. It is the fastest way to hear which parts of the range are being pulled by the market and which are being pushed by us.
What we brought
The booth was organised around four walls rather than a single product hero, because most of the enquiries we get are about fitting parts together.
Ventilation. PIR pre-insulated duct panel with the diffuser and grille range around it — round, swirl, slot and square ceiling diffusers, linear bar and deflection grilles, return and baseboard grilles, and air disc valves — together with the damper actuator series (general, fast-running, spring return, and fire and smoke).
Installation. The PEXFit multilayer pipe system with its compression, union, straight, elbow and solder fittings, the A/C bracket and stand range, and insulated aluminium duct.
Core HVAC parts. Titanium, tube and fin heat exchangers — including the L / I / U / G fin geometries — alongside the control side of the range: underfloor heating manifolds, pump stations, thermostatic mixing valves, smart thermal valves, magnetic filters, 24V thermostats and FCU controllers.
Equipment. The panel range on display covered solar air conditioning, air handlers, rooftop packages, combined air conditioners, R290 commercial heat pumps, fan coil units and inverter pool heat pumps.
The conversations
Three themes came up repeatedly over the three days. The first was matching — buyers who are tired of sourcing a coil from one supplier and an outdoor unit from another, and then carrying the compatibility risk themselves. The second was the refrigerant transition: R-32 and R-454B availability is now a first question rather than an afterthought. The third was installation time, which is where the PEXFit system and the pre-insulated duct range attract attention.
Recognition from the organisers
AHR Expo México issued ACE FORGE with a recognition for exhibiting at the eighteenth edition. The certificate is signed by Mark Stevens, CEO of International Exposition Company; Megan Feillinger, 2025 AHRI Chairman; and William McQuade, 2024–25 ASHRAE President. It is a participation recognition rather than a product certification, and we are glad to have it on the wall — the show is co-sponsored by AHRI and ASHRAE, and exhibiting is how a manufacturer stays in front of the channel that specifies the equipment.
What happens next
